The Jesus College cricket ground occupies a picturesque tree-lined setting adjacent to the College buildings, with a beautiful oak pavilion (itself a popular venue for social events). The pavilion was built in the 1920s with a (unique to Cambridge) thatched roof. The ground has seen many a pitched battle between Colleges, as well as “out” games played by Jesus Graduates and the Long Vac XI (made up of players with various associations with Jesus).
