With patches of snowdrops on the ground and England wickets tumbling overseas, the first signs of Spring are already here. It is also the time when the Fixture Secretary finalises the last remaining matches to be inked into the fixture card and dots the last “i” and crosses the last “t” to the handbook before being dispatched to the printers and it is hoped that they will be distributed in the early part of next month. Although the planned early season tour to Norfolk has sadly had to be cancelled, there will still be 25 Stragglers fixtures for members to choose from – some old and some new ranging from a Cambridge College to the wilds of Salisbury Plain. In addition to hard copies, electronic copies of the fixture card and handbook will also be sent to members via mailchimp.
This year, the Stragglers AGM will be held virtually at 18:00 hours on Friday 26 March 2021. If anyone would like to attend, please contact the Secretary. An Agenda will be posted on the website in advance.
