It is with deep sadness that the Committee announces the death of John Cooke who died peacefully at home after a long illness. John had been a member of the club since 1970 and had also served on the Committee as Secretary for a number of years. The Club President writes: John “was a corinthian player par excellence and a real gentleman. He played for us around the world and was a stalwart member of the 2000 tour of India. He will be sadly missed.”
