The Nevill is the home of both Tunbridge Wells CC and Bluemantle’s CC; opened in 1898, its pavilion was notoriously destroyed by arson in 1913. The ground is also used by Kent and for cricket weeks and other festivals, and has hosted World Cup matches for both Men’s and Women’s competitions. Despite being within a mile of the centre of town, the ground is surrounded by trees and rhododendrons and is widely regarded as one of the most picturesque grounds in England.
