Members might have seen recent ECB advice that recommends that all forms of recreational cricket (training and all types of match) are suspended until further notice.
We are anticipating therefore considerable impact on our 2020 season; at time of writing as follows:
26 March – AGM – postponed until further notice (NB we may adopt an extraordinary approach to AGM 2020 – TBC)
16 April – Net’s at Lord’s – cancelled
24 April – v Thornham CC – cancelled
25 April – v Holkham Hall CC – cancelled
26 April – v Jesus College Graduates – cancelled
30 April – Committee Meeting – postponed until further notice
3 May – v Cryptics (Ascott Park) – TBC (National Trust sites remain open but ECB advice will apply)
13 May – v Wine Trade (Hampton Wick Royal CC) – TBC (HWRCC re-planning early season – likely ECB advice will apply)
17 May – v Grannies – cancelled
20 May – v Pangbourne College – TBC (College plans for Summer Term not yet published)
31 May – v Butterflies (Ascott Park) – TBC (National Trust sites remain open but ECB advice will apply)
3 June – v Army – TBC
7 June – v Northchurch CC – cancelled
Fixtures thereafter – TBC
The committee will of course monitor the ECB guidance very carefully, and stay in touch with opposition clubs throughout.
