On Friday 4 August, the Stragglers were royally hosted by Sunbury Cricket Club where the club took on a Sunbury XI in a match memory of Bill Kincaid who had given so much to both clubs and who sadly died last September. The group picture above shows the two sides together with Bill’s widow Hilary, just after tea. A full report of the match which was played in excellent spirit by both sides and ended in a (rare) Stragglers win will follow shortly.
